Call for Regional Directors

Regional Directors are needed in the following areas:

Region 3 - Metropolitan Chicago
Region 10 - Southeastern Illinois including Clark, Cumberland, Fayette, Effingham, Jasper, Crawford, Marion, Clay, Richland, Lawrence, Jefferson, Wayne, Edwards and Wabash Counties

Regional Directors are members of CCDI's Board of Directors and serve two year terms. Regional Directors may be reelected to the Board, but may not serve more than two consecutive terms in office.

Regional Directors are an important part of CCDI's Board of Directors. They represent the interests of the chapters and at-large members in their region in addition to supplying information and support.

Regional Director Responsibilities:

• To attend ALL Coalition Board meetings.
• To attend the Coalition Disability Rights Conference and the Coalition Annual meeting.
• To form Advocacy Action Teams.
• To assist members as an advocacy resource.
• To prepare a written quarterly report of the Regional activities and accomplishments to the Coalition Board.
• And other duties as assigned by the Coalition Board or President.
• Maintain records for travel, phone, postage etc. for reimbursements.
